Assembly gig (25/08)

It's been a while since we posted on here, how are you all?

So what have we been up to....

We are in the process of moving studios at the moment so it's been a bit hectic in the Antics camp.  For the last few months we've been busy writing and recording some new material, which we are very excited for you to hear.  The new tunes have got a proper Stones swagger and they're going to fit in nicely with the big party tunes we'll be playing live in the upcoming gigs.

The new tracks are currently away being mixed by the very talented John Ridgard of COVES and as soon as they are done we'll have them up here for you to have a listen.

We've also been busy planning for the tour in October supporting The Enemy - have you seen our competition?  We're giving away a pair of guest list tickets to each of the shows.  Check our Facebook page for details.

Also, we are having a pre-tour party at The Assembly Rooms in Leamington Spa with some great local bands and top DJ's, including a set from Tom Clarke!  It's gonna be MINT, see you down the front!

Bread Club

July 20th. We're properly looking forward to this one.

Manchester

Supporting The Enemy in Coventry on the day they released what we think will become a landmark album is going to take some beating. The love from the Cov crowds was pure class.

As we come down from an amazing two days, it's incredible to think we'll be playing in Manchester tonight. it almost goes without saying that for many people, Manchester is the music capital of Britain. For years it's been the heart and soul of music that matters. We've had the privilege of playing some great cities and venues in the last year or so but for us the show at Manchester Academy tonight feels special and we literally can't wait.

The Antics confirmed to support The Enemy...free download of new tune 'Down on you'

We've been sat on this one a while but we're pleased to finally confirm that The Antics are supporting The Enemy on 21st and 22nd May in Coventry.

Coventry City Council should hang their heads in shame for essentially blocking the use of the Cathedral as the venue.  The Enemy, Reverend and the Makers and of course The Antics are going to make this a night to remember and one the real people of Coventry can be proud of.

To celebrate we've put a new tune 'Down on you' on our soundcloud.  It's free to Download.

MY MORNING LIGHT (LYRICS)

MY MORNING LIGHT

When I see you in the morning light
and I'm living in a world of pain
I've seen and taken every high
enough to make you, make you insane

Oh you'll never know

I don't need money to come alive
my lack of money is my restrain
I have this feelin in me every night
I know you feel, feel the same

Oh you'll never know
What's on my..
What's on your mind?

When you greet me with a morning smile
it's like a bullet rushing through my veins
I need you in this lonely life
I need you, need you this way

MY MORNING LIGHT
